Life on campus

Students life is above all studying, knowledge acquisition, and mastering of future profession. At the same time it is the happiest and most exciting period, with the best friends for the term of one’s life, student parties, sport competitions, camping, and many other things.

Most IIELC students live in dormitories. It is here where they spend the major part of their free time.

International student dormitory council (ISDC) is the elected body of the student autonomy and main generator of ideas for student events. IIELC always supports the students’ initiatives.

IIELC Office of extracurricular and social activities assists students in realization of their most ambitious plans. For instance, joint efforts of students and Institute staff made it possible to establish such membership clubs as «World’s nations creativity» artistic workshop, «Phoenix» English language club, «Zhar-ptitsa» (Firebird) Russian language club, «Sparta» sport club, etc.

Students attend the Interclub meetings and willingly tell about their countries, cultures, and traditions. Various cultural events of Institute, University, and city levels give students the opportunity to reveal their artistic skills.

Tomsk is a student city and has got everything that is necessary for a full students’ life: concert halls, theatres and museums, cafes and gyms, parks and clubs.
